Note: Did we miss your establishment's takeout Thanksgiving offering? Send menu, pricing, ordering information and pickup information to [email protected] by 3 p.m. Nov. 10.

When it comes to ordering a takeout Thanksgiving meal, you have plenty of choices, as long as you plan ahead.

Grocery stores including Wegmans, Tops Friendly Markets, Costco and Whole Foods Markets all are offering prepared Thanksgiving meals. Chain restaurants including Cracker Barrel and Texas de Brazil are other options.

Several local restaurants started offering takeout Thanksgiving meals during the pandemic, and they have continued to be a popular option for hosts who want to enjoy a low-stress holiday.

You can order the full meal, only the turkey or only some sides. There are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan possibilities, so everyone at your holiday table can feel welcome.

Most meals will be provided cold, with instructions for reheating. Quantities are limited, so no matter where you choose, you're advised to order well in advance.
